My husband and I are always looking for different places to eat on Yelp, and we happened to drive by this place today on our way to another restaurant for lunch. We figured we'd stop and give this place a try instead, and I'm glad we did. The place is super small, with two 2-top tables to sit at if you want to dine in, but we expected that, and planned to get carry-out instead. The place looked pretty clean and so did what I could see of the kitchen. The menu is pretty simple to navigate, and is posted behind the register and on the counter. We ordered the beef brisket dinner, pulled pork sandwich dinner, and a side of chicken livers. We had the collard greens, fries, peach bbq beans, and fried corn as sides. The amount of food we got for the price was pretty impressive. I was expecting the side of chicken livers to be just that, a side, maybe 5-7. Nope, it was an entire to-go box filled with deliciously fried chicken livers. We couldn't finish everything we ordered. My brisket was amazing; tender, juicy, and the edges were perfectly charred. Everything else was wonderful as well, even the collards (and I am very picky about collards). We're from South Carolina and since moving to the area 5 years ago, we haven't been able to find a place with good BBQ/comfort food. Just walking into this place made me feel like we were back home. We will definitely be back to try their other choices.

Food was excellent. Staff was supportive and helped describe all their food and where it came from. Veggies are grown in the family garden and the sweet potato pie potatoes are also sourced from the garden. We actually ate at the Abram's two small tables. This is not a luxury place, but who goes to BBQ looking for a fancy dinning room anyhow. Mr. Abram (owner) kept the family friendly jokes going the entire time we were there. The location was pretty hard to find. Don't use Apple Maps to get there as you will get lost. Use Google Maps and type in "Claus Liquour" - Abrams is right behind there. Enjoy!

I would never have found this hidden gem without Yelp. I was nearby getting my car's sunroof adjusted, it was lunchtime, so I pulled up Nearby Restaurants. 400 feet? 4+ stars? Asked the guy who had just finished the work, and he said they were pretty good. Gotta try it! The address is Crain Highway, which seems like the service road for the main drag RItchie Highway - I saw a lot of interesting small businesses as I headed home later - but it's in the second layer of the shopping center behind a liquor store. The shop is a narrow hole in the wall with exactly two tables. I asked what was good today and was told the brisket had just come out of the .cooker. So I got that, with the signature peach beans and the greens named after the owner's mother in law. I usually need to season greens, but not these. The sweetness of the peaches worked well with the beans. The brisket was lean, nice chew and a healthy hint of smoke. The house made BBQ sauce did not fit any of the usual niches - it was neither as thin or hot as Carolina nor as thick and sweet as Memphis, just a little sweet, just a little heat, just so darned good I got a little more and ate it with a spoon! Not my usual stomping ground, but I will definitely think about a stop if in the neighborhood.

I was getting my car serviced at the Nissan across the street and was super hungry. Although Burger King was recommended to me, I didn't feel like fast food. I did a quick Yelp search and found out that this BBQ place was nearby, it had a 4 star rating, so I decided to try it out. Definitely a good call. I got the BBQ Brisket sandwich with Mac & Cheese, peach beans, a side of corn bread and the peach cobbler for dessert. Everything was very good, I would highly recommend it. The owner was there, too, Stretch, and he clearly takes pride in his product. It's a tiny hole in the wall, so it is easy to miss, but definitely worth the venture.

I have been to Abram's BBQ on several occasions and let me tell you it is "off the chain"! I love the wings as an appetizer with a side of ribs along with any of the vegetables. The "creekwater" (half tea / half lemonade) is a great way to wash it down. Even though he is a Redskins fan, Henri is a great cook and very engaging when you come to his restaurant so I won't hold that against him. I highly reccomend it if you're in the area and HUNGRY go to Abram's!

Food is AMAZING and I am a picky eater. Fish and half chicken are in my favorites but can't go wrong with any selection. Sides include peach beans, mac and cheese, greens, etc. Highly recommend this place

3.5 stars. I have been wanting to come here forever. I am always on the hunt for delicious BBQ. The other day I found myself in Glen Burnie and had about an hour to waste before an appointment. I thought to myself, "Self...you know you wanna eat...but what?" Then I remembered Abrams was in Glen Burnie. That was all she wrote. I GPS'd the addy and off I went. The BBQ joint is set in a strip mall behind another building and is not visible from the road. There is a sign/flag by the entrance, so keep a look out for that. I walked in a was kind of greeted by a woman sitting at the register. By kind of, I mean that she said hello, but only after she turned down the Latifah show that was BLARING when I opened the front door. I got a very unwelcoming vibe from her so I quickly made a decision and ordered the brisket with a side of their famous peach baked beans and mac and cheese. Before going to the back to get my order, the woman cranked the volume of the TV back up to sonic boom level and walked away I then stood around (ears hurting), took some photos of the place, and waited for about 10 minutes for my food to be prepared. The unfriendly woman was the only person working there and she took her time getting my order together. Things to note: there are only 2, two-person tables in the restaurant. Don't come here with 8 co-workers and expect to sit down. This is a grab-n-go kind of place. The BBQ sauce they use is for sale. I totally forgot to check the price (sorry). I finally got my food and hauled out of there without any further dialogue between myself and Mrs. Grumpy pants. I then made it to my appointment destination and said "screw it...I'm eating in the car." Lemme tell you, the food was GOOD. Mac n cheese was traditional southern style- the kind that is cut into pieces and taken out of the pan with a spatula...you know, it looks like a slice of cake made of macaroni with cheese in it. In my opinion, creamy mac and cheese is gross. Southern mac n cheese is where it's at and Abrams doesn't disappoint. Their baked beans were also absolutely delicious. I didn't get a whole lot of the peach "essence", but they were different than any other baked beans I have ever tried. Check em out! Finally, the brisket. I ordered the brisket plate and what I received was a sandwich (weird, but whatever). The brisket was sliced super thin and if I had to describe it I would call it "beef bacon". It had crispy edges and a moist center and was just delicious. I really liked their BBQ sauce too. I am hoping that maybe I came during an off day and that was why I didn't feel welcome in the place. I will definitely return because the food was awesome, but need to warm you that you may not be treated as a valued customer. Hopefully someone will read my review and take note. This place is definitely worth a 4 star rating if they improve their customer service.

I got a Amazon Local for this place after suggestions from my family to try it on day. I will admit that my husband was the one who went to the restaurant and picked up the food. We got a lot of food for the amount of the coupon which was valued at $25. The items that I got was the peach baked beans, macaroni and cheese, and corn bread. All was pleasantly good especially the peach baked beans. I liked the macaroni and cheese but it seemed a bit greasy for me... might have been the grease from the cheese. My husband said that the owner was really nice and it was busy in the restaurant. He was assuming others were cashing in their coupon as well! Overall, I would order food from there again and I liked the taste of the food for the prices they had listed on the menu. The menu was short and simple too! That's my preference for a menu.

Today was the first time my family and I ever heard of Abrams BBQ. We decided to have it for dinner. So very glad we did! My husband had the ribs, Mac & cheese, the beans, and cornbread. My nephew had the pulled pork, mac & cheese, collard greens, and I had the fried tilapia, mac & cheese, and the collard greens. We were stuffed and very satisfied. If you're looking for real down home cooking. I recommend Abrams BBQ. You'll find the restaurant located in the Crain Business Center. It's tucked away, so be patient and you'll find it well worth the drive.

Got a half rack of ribs and some chicken. The chicken was good but I wasn't a fan of how much ribs cost compared to the size of the rack. I would go back for the chicken but I wouldn't go out of my way to bring someone here for BBQ.

This was my first time trying this place and the food was marvelous! I ordered the half slab of ribs and half chicken for me and my wife. We only planned to eat a little bit and save it for later but could not put the forks down. I was a little skeptical ordering the beans but they were so much better than I expected. I will definitely be going back here again and again and again.

Service was good! That is the only reasons I gave this a 2 star review! I bought a half rack of ribs beans and fries. I was informed that they ran out of beans. The beans is a major thing that they advertise. The ribs where over cooked and mushy. The sauce was overly sweet with no real flavor. I ate 2 ribs and threw the rest out. On of the worst rack of ribs I have ever eaten.

Service - great. Food - tasty. Location - Like a ninja's destination. Online - needs updating (menu prices online differ from the one posted inside). Offered a southern style creek water that was dancing on my palate. Even sampled a smoked chicken salad with cranberries that would be great for a lunchtime treat. Will come back and try another meal now that I know they do exist.

1st time here: I get a craving I look only for the best. Normally go somewhere else but I'm on a budget right now so this place is close came to mind. I normally go to the el salvadorian place across from Abrams. I ordered 1/2 rib dinner w/beans & fries. This place is ok for my craving but not anything to rave about. Not much meat on my ribs and basic BBQ taste not much flavor. Everyone's palate is diff so try it & see. Called in my order @12 & she said it'll be done 12:30. I was there at 12:25 and paid $12.00 for the dinner. Good for the price but not worth coming back. On a hot day like this June 29th I'll put the grill on for dinner

First off, good luck finding this place. It is tucked behind a building, almost impossible to see from the road. I would have driven by if I didn't see their name on a sign near the street. Abram (the guy from the website) was there tending to the food along with an assistant. She came to the counter with her earbuds in while talking to me, which seemed rather rude. Some of the food was OK, others not as much. The pulled pork I ordered was so wet that it literally saturated the bottom bun. Good tasting, but the wateriness definitely killed it. The only way to eat it in tact was to use a knife and fork. The ribs were decent, but nothing amazing. The sides were the biggest disappointment. They all tasted good, but there was not enough for what you paid. We ordered combos with sides, and everything came in small Styrofoam side containers. It didn't seem nearly enough for the amount paid per side. OK to visit once to see if you like it, but I don't think we'll go back. Such a shame as I enjoy supporting local businesses, and this place seems about as local as you can get.

Hands down the best BBQ in Glen Burnie! I've been searching for BBQ in Glen Burnie since I moved here last year to no avail. Yes, I tried Mission BBQ, Red White & Blue, and Adams Ribs...all not satisfying my taste buds for "great" BBQ! After today, I have definitely found my go to spot to satisfy the BBQ itch! Try the brisket, pulled pork, and ribs...ALL GREAT! But don't take my word for it....try it for yourself...you won't be disappointed!
